📋 Description

• Provide ePlus clients with network, security, and systems support • Perform network and systems support • Troubleshoot, isolate, diagnose, resolve, and manage network and systems problems • Work in a 7x24x365 team environment with independent discretion during rotating shifts • Provide client end-systems support, including design, development, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem resolution • Follow through until problems are resolved • Maintain high-level technical skills and stay current with computing technology and solutions • Work assigned tickets and projects and close tickets correctly and promptly • Keep management informed of issues and escalations • Comply with internal and client processes and procedural changes • Maintain toolkit and inventory, replacing items as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required • College degree preferred • 1-2 years of networking experience • 1-3 years field experience • 1-3 years in a client-facing position • CCNA upon hire or within 6 months of employment • Experience/training with one or more of Cisco, Nortel, 3Com, Microsoft NT, Novell NetWare, or VMware • Understanding of at least two routing protocols: IP, IPX, EIGRP, OSPF, or RIP • Ability to perform basic protocol analysis using a LAN analyzer • Understanding of WAN, LAN, interfaces, protocols, and topology • Knowledge of WAN and LAN concepts • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills • Understanding of switching concepts, including VLAN and ATM • Experience/training with router IOS, server NOS, hardware, WAN technologies, proprietary software, and DHCP/DNS • Excellent oral and written communication skills
