It publishes papers, reports, newsletters, podcasts, and data insights, and offers custom research and advisory services to policymakers, institutions, and companies to inform decisions about AI development, infrastructure, and governance.

📋 Description

• Provide specialized operations support for research teams • Coordinate with external experts and contractors across diverse domains • Ensure external contributions meet quality standards and improve collaborators’ experience • Support data projects, including securing and licensing data for data-center tracking and maintaining compliance • Organize events such as expert symposiums • Own external communications channels, including audience-query inboxes • Respond to or triage audience queries with the team • Provide operational support for new research initiatives • Handle complex logistics and the many tasks required to launch and run projects smoothly

🎯 Requirements

• Avidly follow AI developments and understand topics such as GPQA Diamond and benchmark saturation • Ability to own projects without a clear playbook • Ability to break complex challenges into manageable steps and develop creative solutions • Actively seek and quickly incorporate feedback • Give clear, constructive feedback, including to supervisors • Instinctively organized and conscientious, with strong attention to detail • Two or more years of prior work experience in roles with many moving parts • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable with direct and empathetic communication • Comfortable and excited to work in a startup-like, fast-moving environment • Motivated by Epoch AI’s mission of improving humanity’s understanding of AI development • Professional-level English proficiency • Ability or willingness to travel for three annual retreats and other relevant work trips
