📋 Description

• Provide nutrition-related care and ongoing support to patients and families undergoing eating disorder treatment • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients’ unique needs • Conduct initial nutrition assessments, prescribe meal plans, and assess target weight ranges through telehealth meetings • Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods • Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns clearly to treatment team members and educate them on resolving concerns • Echo treatment team directives in interactions with families • Assist with discharge planning • Update treatment plans weekly with patient progress, goals, assignments, and nutrition concerns • Reassess nutritional needs and communicate recommendations to the treatment team and families • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education addressing irrational thoughts and beliefs about food, nutrition, weight, and shape • Establish therapeutic relationships with families through rapport building, boundary setting, and working alliances • Thoroughly document care in Equip’s electronic medical record • Attend mandatory meetings, including group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active state license in West Virginia • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or college and coursework accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) • Licensed RDN required • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams • Experience working on interdisciplinary teams • Ability to provide 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in the working time zone throughout the week • Ability to work until 8pm two evenings per week • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and innovation • Ability to understand and balance business needs and clinical priorities • Organized and results-driven • Eating disorder experience preferred • Exposure or experience with family-based eating disorder treatment approaches preferred but not required
