📋 Description

• Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for Construction, Building Products, and Consumables across EquipmentShare • Negotiate pricing and value for products and services • Create and renew vendor relationships and contracts • Review product quality and effectiveness • Guide, mentor, and develop team members and vendors • Evaluate product vendors and study market trends • Develop standards, processes, and best practices for Procurement • Collaborate across the organization to establish transparent procurement processes • Identify price reductions, efficient purchasing opportunities, and improvements • Build vendor relationships for common category services • Collaborate with management during vendor evaluation, selection, contract negotiations, and service level agreements • Mine data for in-depth analysis of category usage and spend

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of Construction & Building Products category management experience • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred • Professional certifications preferred, e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M., or evidence of continued professional growth • Strong project management, communication and leadership skills • Solid working knowledge of the complete procurement cycle • In-depth knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain and Inventory fundamentals • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills • Ability to build relationships with key business stakeholders and third-party vendors • Contract negotiation and ongoing management skills • Ability to mine data for in-depth analysis • Building and managing diverse vendor relationships • Knowledge of effective supplier risk management techniques • Employment contingent on passing a background check • Some roles require passing a drug test, depending on job responsibilities
