📋 Description

• Own the design, development, and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions powering Tenable's go-to-market engine • Design and build Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and custom metadata • Manage the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis and technical design through code review, testing, and production deployment • Establish coding standards, test coverage requirements, and architectural best practices • Lead technical design reviews and serve as a technical lead on the Business Technology Salesforce team • Build and maintain Salesforce Data Cloud data streams, data model objects, calculated insights, and activation targets • Develop and configure Agentforce agents, Einstein AI features, and prompt templates • Integrate Salesforce with external data lakes such as Databricks using SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and MuleSoft or direct connectors • Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, exploration, and pipeline debugging • Manage deployments across scratch orgs, sandboxes, and production using Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and source-driven workflows • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, static analysis, and deployment gating • Champion Git branching, pull request reviews, and release management • Script and automate routine tasks using shell, Python, or Node.js • Design and implement integrations with NetSuite, Workday, Clari, Certinia, and MuleSoft • Evaluate platform architecture decisions for scalability, performance, and maintainability • Maintain data integrity, governor-limit awareness, and security best practices • Partner with stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications • Conduct code reviews and provide educational feedback to developers and admins • Maintain technical documentation for architecture, integrations, and deployment runbooks • Mentor peers and set development standards • Perform other duties assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• This position is US-based only • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in an enterprise environment • Expert-level proficiency in Apex, including asynchronous patterns, governor limits, and test-driven development • Expert-level proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC) • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360, including data streams, DMOs, identity resolution, segments, and activations • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX), source-driven development, and deployments through multiple sandbox environments to production • Practical experience building or maintaining Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Gearset, Copado, or similar • Proficiency in SQL • Experience with data lake platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar • Comfort operating in a terminal/CLI environment and independently reading, writing, and debugging shell commands and scripts • Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein AI features, or prompt-based automation within Salesforce • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead design discussions • Self-directed with a strong ownership mindset • Exposure to AI-assisted development tooling such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot • Ideally: Experience with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP API integration design, and event-driven architecture • Ideally: Familiarity with NetSuite, Workday, Clari, or Certinia integrations • Ideally: Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud • Ideally: Active Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I & II, Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, or Agentforce Specialist • Ideally: B2B SaaS or cybersecurity industry experience
