📋 Description

• Create, modify, and validate detailed parametric CAD models in FreeCAD according to project requirements • Develop and optimize mechanical assemblies using best practices in assembly design and component integration • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure manufacturability and quality • Generate technical drawings and documentation for engineering review and downstream processes • Conduct engineering QA reviews of CAD models and drawings to identify, communicate, and help resolve issues • Use Python scripting for CAD automation tasks to streamline repetitive or complex modeling operations • Provide feedback on model accuracy, design intent, and process improvements • Apply domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality real-world input

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product design, industrial engineering, or a related field, with a focus on parametric CAD modeling • Advanced proficiency in FreeCAD or equivalent parametric CAD platforms • Strong knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, including GD&T and DFM best practices • Ability to produce comprehensive technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly • Experience conducting engineering QA and verifying model integrity and compliance with specifications • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills relevant to remote, project-based collaboration • Python scripting for CAD automation is highly preferred but not mandatory • No prior AI experience is required
