📋 Description

• Own relationships with funding agencies and act as the primary operational liaison between EVCS and external grant officers • Monitor the market for relevant upcoming bid and grant opportunities • Recommend how EVCS should participate based on opportunity fit • Organize team efforts around, write, and edit company submissions to grants and rebates • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on grant compliance • Interpret regulations and guide internal teams accordingly • Maintain digital records of grant agreements, amendments, correspondence, and compliance documentation for audit readiness • Organize and manage Grant Coordinator and Grant Administrator efforts to accomplish team goals • Maintain a pipeline of upcoming funding opportunities • Prioritize opportunities suited to EVCS’s business model • Submit attractive and fiscally sound proposals on behalf of EVCS • Develop strategic partnerships and manage relationships with agencies and internal and external stakeholders • Help implement funding programs and monitor how received funds are used

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field • 5+ years of experience managing grants, funding programs, government contracts, or incentive programs • Experience preparing successful funding or grant applications • Strong project management and organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical and financial reporting abilities • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously • Preferred: experience within clean energy, electric vehicle infrastructure, utilities, sustainability, or government-funded programs • Preferred: knowledge of federal funding programs, state incentive programs, and public sector procurement • Preferred: experience with grant management software or CRM systems • PMP or Grant Professional Certification (GPC) is a plus
