📋 Description

• Manage and maintain the general ledger for assigned subsidiaries • Own payroll and employee-related accounting end to end, including payroll actuals and accruals, bonuses, commissions, severance, 401(k), employee benefits, HSA/FSA, and related reconciliations • Analyze monthly financial statements and variances against prior periods and provide concise explanations • Summarize and present flux explanations to management • Prepare work papers and month-end reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and selected income statement accounts • Identify discrepancies and provide potential resolutions • Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Legal, Tax, and other stakeholders • Assist with intercompany, lease, debt, and segment accounting processes, including M&A transactional accounting • Ensure effectiveness of internal controls over assigned GL areas • Collaborate with internal audit to address identified deficiencies • Ensure compliance with SOX and IPE requirements • Identify process improvements and lead initiatives to streamline month-end close and general ledger processes • Report to the Accounting Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar field • BS/BA degree in accounting required • Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes of a public company • Working knowledge of US GAAP standards and understanding internal controls • Strong diligence, well-organized and solid interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to solve issues and work independently • Strong accountability for assigned work • Proficient Excel skills • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship • Experience as a Senior Accountant preferred • Experience in a SaaS GL Accounting role • Big 4 or public accounting experience • CPA or current CPA candidate • Experience with NetSuite, OneStream, or another ERP software
