📋 Description

• Participate in all aspects of the DrChrono software development lifecycle for new application development and existing system maintenance • Gather, document, and estimate requirements • Develop, test, deploy, and demonstrate software • Create systems documentation • Participate in daily stand-ups and retrospectives • Mentor and pair with developers • Conduct code reviews • Prototype solutions • Work alongside developers, quality assurance testers, and product owners on an agile team • Code, test, and deploy software (70%) • Perform mentoring, pairing, and code reviews (20%) • Conduct requirement estimation and software spikes (5%) • Participate in meetings, presentations, and demos (5%)

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience • 3+ years' experience writing production backend code in Python and Django • 3+ years' experience doing front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript • 2+ years' experience with React and Typescript • 3+ years of experience with Test Automation, Mocking, Stubs, etc • Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or other) • Demonstrates expertise in algorithms, refactoring and engineering best practices (DRY, SOLID, etc) • Proficiency with Git • Desire to coach and mentor less experienced team members • Experience conducting code reviews • Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust communication to fit the audience • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science is preferred or equivalent experience • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship • Test driven development experience, Agile and Scrum development methodologies, and Developer experience AI tools are nice to haves
