📋 Description

• Lead development, coaching, performance management, and day-to-day execution of a geographically dispersed Field Access Manager team • Lead field reimbursement activities within the assigned region to achieve patient access objectives • Observe field activity, identify market opportunities and access barriers, and develop actionable regional plans • Serve as first-line manager for Field Access Managers, providing direction, prioritization, coaching, and accountability • Conduct field visits, ride-a-longs, coaching conversations, and performance reviews • Build a high-performing field-based team through skill-gap identification, development plans, best-practice sharing, and continuous learning • Maintain technical expertise regarding products, policies, and business issues • Plan and conduct plan-of-action and other meetings with corporate leadership • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and processes • Provide direction and insights to internal partners in business planning • Partner with training, analytics, compliance, HUB operations, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams • Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members • Establish individualized development plans with measurable goals and regular progress follow-up • Translate business priorities, regional access insights, and performance data into coaching plans and team operating rhythms

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 12+ years in pharmaceutical industry with experience in payer policy and product access • 7+ years of experience in benefit verifications and/or prior-authorization requirements or equivalent experience in patient access • 3+ years leading successful field access/reimbursement teams, including coaching, developing, and managing performance of field-based team members • Detailed understanding of pharmacy and medical benefit product models • Knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes, with experience in Medicare Parts B & D coverage • Knowledge of specialty markets, HUB/reimbursement services, and patient access programs • Strong analytical skills to assess market dynamics, competitor activity, and continuous diabetes monitoring trends • Ability to gather and interpret data to guide regional strategy, including HUB and patient claims data • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and videoconferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo Meeting) • Advanced degree preferred • Pediatric Endocrinology and/or Endocrinology experience preferred • Previous launch experience in Access/Reimbursement leadership role • Previous biopharmaceutical industry experience in product marketing, managed care, field sales, case management, or large healthcare practice is a plus
