📋 Description

• Function as the primary medical point of contact in the geographic area • Maintain clinical and scientific expertise in oncology, especially locally advanced prostate cancer and other solid tumors • Conduct compliant scientific peer exchange about the client’s product pipeline • Understand clinical protocols, trial outcomes, and related procedures • Develop and track KOL engagement plans and maintain collaborative relationships • Engage with medical and scientific communities, including advisory boards • Manage and develop the assigned territory • Handle clinical program requests and unsolicited information requests • Support clinical-trial sites and investigators in collaboration with R&D • Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling and top account/institution profiling • Collaborate with commercial colleagues on account engagement • Document unsolicited requests and provide internal teams with KOL feedback and insights • Represent the client at medical meetings and provide congress reports • Follow corporate SOPs and legal and regulatory requirements • Provide medical support, clinical input, and training for internal teams • Present product science, clinical, outcomes, economic, and value information to healthcare practitioners, formulary members, and payers

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree required, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA • MSL: minimum 2 years of previous MSL experience • MSL: minimum 1 year of oncology and/or immunology experience • Working knowledge of viral immunotherapy and gene therapy • Senior MSL: minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical experience • Senior MSL: minimum 3 years of rare disease, oncology, and/or immunology experience • Genitourinary oncology experience strongly preferred • Prior product launch experience required • Strong scientific, business, and clinical acumen • Excellent communication and networking skills • Ability to interpret and present scientific data to KOLs • Working knowledge of standards of care for prostate cancer • Working knowledge of NCCN Guidelines, NCI Cooperative Groups, and Oncology Research Consortiums • Ability to present complex scientific, value, and evidence data to payers and/or formulary committees • Working knowledge of institutions and clinics in selected geographies • Willingness to travel to medical meetings and congresses as appropriate • Compliance with corporate SOPs and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines
