📋 Description

• Contribute to program planning, workplan development, and reporting on the global Syphilis-Free Start program internally and externally • Participate in coordination meetings and coordinate country program updates • Collaborate with the MLE team on monitoring and evaluation activities, including data quality reviews, facility observation tools, data collection, and progress reporting • Collaborate with technical, MLE, operations, and program finance teams to support program delivery • Assist with donor reporting and other materials • Support SFS leadership with day-to-day support and problem-solving for country teams in Liberia, Zambia, Côte d'Ivoire, and Cameroon • Develop and refine program strategies, tools, and training materials • Identify and troubleshoot implementation bottlenecks and document challenges, adaptations, and promising practices • Ensure program tools, training materials, and job aids reflect current evidence and align with WHO and national guidelines • Support training and mentorship activities for facility-level health workers • Synthesize learnings and best practices across countries and support program-wide adoption • Support expansion research, scoping reports, databases, and partner relationships in target geographies • Support scoping trips, stakeholder meetings, and health facility visits • Assist with informal data collection across health facilities • Support oversight of external partners and coordinate subcontractor timelines • Support financial, operational, and RFP workflows and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree with 1-3 years of relevant work experience in public health, international development, economics, or another related field • Experience living and/or working with global health programs in a low- or middle-income country setting • Ability to manage complex and interdependent workplans and projects, prioritize, and adapt plans, including building structured but flexible processes • Experience supporting government counterparts and country-based program teams • Ability to adapt communication style for teams at different skill levels and across different cultural contexts • Ability to build processes from ambiguity and help the team operate across low-resource program contexts • Oral and written proficiency in French desired • Applicants for roles based in the U.S. must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; Evidence Action cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of a U.S. employment visa
