📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment • Enter high volumes of prescription data accurately and efficiently • Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers • Perform claim adjudication and auditing, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks • Make outbound calls to patients • Work current case queues to resolve patient-care issues • Liaise between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on patients’ behalf • Partner with technicians and pharmacists to onboard new patients • Maintain confidential and accurate patient records • Retrieve and verify prescription information through doctor calls • Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients • Create, maintain, and update medication profiles • Provide backup support during high patient call volumes • Answer patient questions by phone • Support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values in all communications and interactions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Ability to work in an office-based or remote setting, sitting at a desk 90% of the time • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Ability to utilize computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills • Thorough drug knowledge • Pharmacy billing knowledge • Knowledge of prescription intake, clarifications, and transfers • Clear written and verbal communication • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details in compliance with state and federal regulations • Must be eligible to work in this country • Ability to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • Availability to work extended hours as needed and outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis
