📋 Description

• Answer high-volume inbound calls from current patients and resolve their questions • Collect patient balances when an amount is due • Provide exceptional customer service in a closed-door, phone-based pharmacy environment • Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on patients’ behalf • Partner with technicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure excellent patient care • Maintain patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality • Provide backup support during periods of higher patient call volume • Assist patients with questions over the phone • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values in communications and interactions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate • Maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy • Must be 18+ years of age • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting • Comfortable working in a fully remote and/or phone-based environment • Ability to work independently • Self-motivated and goal oriented • Ability to use computer equipment, technology, and multiple software programs • Exceptional customer service skills serving doctors’ offices, pharmacists, and patients over the phone • Thorough pharmacy and drug knowledge • Knowledge of processes for taking prescriptions, clarifications, and transfers • Clear written and verbal communication • Strong prioritization and organizational skills • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality • Ability to think critically and document pertinent details compliantly with state and federal regulations • Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed • Average availability of 40 hours per week and outside normal business hours on an ad-hoc basis • Applicants must be eligible to work in this country
