📋 Description

• Support Medicaid Prior Authorization as a Clinical Pharmacist for Aetna • Apply evidence-based clinical guidelines and criteria • Utilize formularies and preferred drug lists in clinical decision-making • Work in a high-production managed care team environment • Review medical records and clinical literature • Compose SOAP notes • Work the 10:00 am–6:30 pm Arizona-time shift after training • Complete an 8-week training schedule from 8:00 am–4:30 pm Arizona time • Work one Saturday every six weeks and occasional holidays

🎯 Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Arizona and/or Texas pharmacist license required; candidate must currently hold one of these licenses • Must obtain the additional Arizona or Texas pharmacist license within 90 days of hire • 3+ years of experience working as a pharmacist • Experience with clinical decision-making using evidence-based clinical guidelines and criteria • Experience utilizing formularies and preferred drug lists • Experience working in a high-production managed care team environment • Demonstrated understanding of clinical program components, formulary designs, and prescription benefit trends • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD • Medicaid or Medicare experience preferred • Prior authorization experience preferred • Experience reviewing medical records, clinical literature, and composing SOAP notes preferred • Ability to work the specified Arizona-time shifts, one Saturday every six weeks, and occasional holidays
