📋 Description

• Respond to customer security requests involving physical access, firewalls, content filters, email security appliances, spam filters, virus protection, and asset tracking • Identify security risks and develop mitigation plans • Manage and audit firewall rules • Perform IEM log analysis • Manage, develop, and maintain threat and vulnerability management initiatives • Manage content filters • Troubleshoot, resolve, prioritize, evaluate, and escalate IT security issues • Provide timely follow-up support to customers • Document solutions for inclusion in the knowledge base • Participate in security-related projects • Review and update security policies and procedures • Participate in SOX, SOC, HITRUST, and other security compliance audits • Promote security awareness and customer trust within the organization • Collaborate on the planning, design, implementation, documentation, and deployment of security projects, appliances, and applications • Attend VAR and vendor meetings as needed • Serve as subject matter expert for security tools and applications • Create documentation for security tools, applications, and processes • Travel occasionally, including to data centers • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in Computer Science or related field • Five years of experience in IT • Two years of experience in IT security • Preferred experience with industry audit standards and security frameworks • Strong technical knowledge of security concepts, practices and analysis, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security • Minimum of Security+, GIAC/EC Council certification(s), or equivalent • Willingness to travel 10–15% of the time, including some international travel • Familiarity with Check Point, Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls, Cisco IronPort, Trend Micro AV, Threat and Vulnerability Management, 2-factor authentication, access control systems, SIEM products, VMware products, asset management and tracking, and SIE • Advanced computer troubleshooting, analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work under pressure and manage change, delays, or unexpected events • Ability to learn multiple programs and systems • Exceptional communication skills • Ability to prioritize work and use time efficiently • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Availability for after-hours on-call coverage on a rotation schedule • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
