📋 Description

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts • Prepare and post journal entries • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP • Lead month-end and year-end close processes • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records • Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules as needed • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records • Manage or support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning • Assist with internal and external audits • Coordinate tax reporting and work with external tax advisors • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations • Analyze financial results and provide meaningful recommendations to leadership • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficiencies • Leverage automation and AI-powered tools where appropriate to improve workflows • Assist with ERP implementations, upgrades, or financial system improvements • Partner with leadership, operations, tax, and external advisors on strategic initiatives • Prepare reports and financial information to support executive decision-making • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting • Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations • Experience leading month-end and year-end close • Proficiency with accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, Xero, or similar ERP systems • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines • Preferred CPA designation (active or in progress) • Experience in a multi-entity environment • Experience supporting audits and tax compliance • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Experience implementing accounting automation or financial technology solutions • Professional services, consulting, legal, financial services, or multi-company experience
