📋 Description

• Own the strategy and roadmap for products hospitals and health systems use to load, model, and monitor payer contracts • Ensure reimbursement is calculated accurately, underpayments are detected, and contract terms are applied correctly across the revenue cycle • Own contract modeling and rate management, fee schedule and contract loading, underpayment and variance detection, contract compliance and renegotiation support, and contract analytics and reporting capabilities • Lead discovery and strategy for significant, multi-threaded opportunities in contract modeling, fee schedule management, and underpayment detection • Set portfolio-level strategic direction and investment priorities using competitive and market monitoring • Build and defend business cases with cost, revenue, and ROI modeling • Establish outcome-based OKRs and quality standards across the Billing Office portfolio • Guide large, complex engineering teams and bets within Contract Management • Lead discovery for impactful new opportunities and set standards for discovery rigor, requirements analysis, and launch excellence • Use AI and prototyping to de-risk ambiguous, cross-team, or regulated contract-modeling bets • Coach others on responsible AI use in high-stakes contexts • Own strategic customer relationships and lead conversations about contract performance, underpayment recovery, and reimbursement accuracy • Maintain fluency in payer contracting practices, reimbursement methodologies, and the regulatory landscape • Help streamline internal PLM, compliance, procurement, regulatory, and data-protection processes for launching new payer contracts and rate-related capabilities • Report to the VP of Product Management

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience • Track record of owning the largest or most complex product areas within a portfolio • Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, payer contracting, or reimbursement methodology • Direct experience with contract modeling, fee schedules, or underpayment detection strongly preferred • Familiarity with regulatory and data-protection requirements such as HIPAA is a plus • Experience independently guiding large or complex engineering teams, or leading discovery for impactful new bets • Experience building business cases and financial models, including cost, revenue, and ROI analysis • Experience owning and repairing strategic, high-stakes customer relationships • Hands-on experience with AI tools including chat-based assistants, agentic tools, and dev-integrated/prototyping tools • Experience coaching others on responsible AI use • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time • Reside in, or near, the designated Collaboration Hub(s) for this role
