📋 Description

• Design, plan, and oversee implementation of complex network solutions for sports and entertainment venues • Prepare and deliver customer presentations to executive, management, and technical audiences • Represent Extreme Networks at trade shows, seminars, industry events, and customer briefings • Analyze customer requirements and architect solutions positioning Extreme Networks products against competitive alternatives • Demonstrate Extreme Networks products and articulate competitive advantages and technical differentiation • Manage complex customer interactions and maintain high customer satisfaction • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Support, and Product teams for seamless project delivery • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in live customer environments • Support the Sports and Entertainment vertical in a pre-sales capacity • Travel to customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network engineering, systems design, or pre-sales • Expert-level knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi technologies and wireless network design • Strong background in wired, wireless, and security networking technologies with proven competitive industry experience • Demonstrated ability to influence customer decisions and displace competitive solutions • Hands-on experience with industry-standard network toolsets (Ekahau, Hamina, NetScout, or equivalent) • Proven troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills in enterprise network environments • Strong understanding of network and systems security design principles, implementation, and analysis • Excellent technical communication and presentation skills • Proven ability to work independently and coordinate across cross-functional teams • Willingness and ability to travel within assigned region up to 60% • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience • Preferred: Industry wireless certifications (CWTS, CWNA, CWDP, CWAP, or equivalent) • Preferred: Experience with Extreme Networks products and solutions • Preferred: Track record of success in sports, entertainment, or venue-based networking projects • Knowledge of wired switching and routing, Layer 2/3 technologies • Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 routing protocols, including RIPv1/v2/v3, OSPFv2/v3, VRRP, MPLS, BGP, and PIM • Knowledge of network access and security protocols, including RADIUS, 802.1X, Active Directory, and LDAP • Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Knowledge of network analysis and troubleshooting tools
