📋 Description

• Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning • Advise on internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions between US GAAP and IFRS, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements, and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts • Assist companies with all aspects of tax provision preparation • Review tax provision processes to improve efficiency and accuracy • Enhance the control environment • Assess tax risk and control environments, including areas within and beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 • Identify, prioritize, monitor, and remediate key risks • Manage large engagements and build relationships with clients and colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a related field, supported by significant tax or legal experience • Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS • Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation • Strong analytical skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities • Attention to detail • Strong ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 experience and experience in corporate tax planning and compliance preferred • Relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry with broad exposure to federal income taxation preferred • Ability to team with and motivate others • Ability to manage large engagements and build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues • EY expects all candidates to demonstrate high ethical standards and integrity
