📋 Description

• Define and lead Factory’s developer relations strategy across technical content, community, events, partnerships, and social channels • Represent Factory externally through LinkedIn, X, conferences, podcasts, livestreams, and developer communities • Build tutorials, demos, sample applications, reference implementations, documentation, and case studies • Demonstrate how Droids improve software development workflows and accelerate users’ experience of Factory’s value • Build an active, self-sustaining developer community • Develop relationships with influential developers, open-source maintainers, AI companies, research groups, and technology partners • Design and execute workshops, meetups, hackathons, launch programs, and conference activations • Establish feedback loops between developers and Factory’s Product and Engineering teams • Monitor developments in AI, developer tools, and software engineering to keep Factory relevant and differentiated • Advocate for developer-first decisions across product, documentation, onboarding, and developer experience • Define and report success measures covering developer adoption, engagement, content performance, community health, and product feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in developer relations, developer education, product management, software engineering, or technical leadership • Deep technical credibility and ability to build, demo, and explain modern software development workflows • Respected presence in the developer community and track record of producing trusted, shareable content • Experience building and scaling developer communities, programs, or ecosystems • Strong familiarity with AI-assisted development, coding agents, developer tools, open source, and emerging engineering practices • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives • Exceptional written, verbal, on-camera, and public-speaking skills • Strong product instincts and experience working closely with Engineering and Product teams • Metrics-driven approach to developer adoption and community investment • High agency and ability to build a function in a fast-moving environment with limited structure • Genuine passion for developer education and helping technical users succeed
