📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service while proactively seeking solutions within compliance and legal requirements • Communicate with customers and agents via phone, chats, and emails • Receive and respond to inquiries related to insurance matters • Resolve moderately complex issues regarding policy provisions and conditions • Evaluate and interpret policy information within prescribed authority limits • Access account information while working in multiple systems • Make appropriate recommendations or decisions using account information, product knowledge, and compliance requirements • Document customer interactions and outcomes thoroughly in the system • Escalate unresolved issues requiring advanced support • Build knowledge through self-directed learning • Stay informed about underwriting, policy guidelines, compliance, and legal requirements • Maintain department knowledge resources • Identify customer concern trends and patterns • Recommend process improvements to leadership • Partner with Policy Support, Claims, and Underwriting departments • Work with external vendors when needed to address customer needs • Adhere to assigned schedule and time-off request procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1–3 years customer service experience • 1 year of experience in a call center environment or related field preferred • Experience providing customer support in a high-volume, complex environment preferred • Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously • Ability to troubleshoot basic headset, internet, and connectivity issues • Experience with Microsoft Office suite preferred • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Property and Casualty license required for the role; Farmers helps unlicensed hires obtain it • Ability to work assigned schedules • Quiet, distraction-free work environment and high-speed internet • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, up to a full work shift • Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods • Physical dexterity to repetitively operate a keyboard and office equipment • Ability to listen to, interpret, and differentiate auditory information • Ability to visually verify, read, and locate information • Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing 0–10 pounds
