Feanix is a farm-focused biotech and software company that automates genetic and herd-management decisions for dairy operations. Its Autopilot product combines whole-genome sequencing, herd-management data (DairyComp, milk records, feed, health, activity monitors), and farm-specific economics into a machine-learning prediction engine that prices every cow on the farm’s actual economics. Autopilot converts trillions of datapoints into ranked, actionable recommendations (breed, beef, DNB, sell, cull, watchlist) that sync into existing farm systems and prioritize profit rather than generic genetic rankings. The platform is built to reduce low-value replacements, improve semen allocation, maintain herd-size targets, and accelerate economic gain for farms.

📋 Description

• Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and non-technical roles from role definition through accepted offer • Proactively source and engage exceptional candidates • Recruit across engineering, product, revenue, customer/farm success, lab/scientific, and operations roles • Lead searches from individual contributors to senior leaders • Partner with founders and hiring managers to define role scope, level, requirements, and success profiles • Build creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-find and specialized talent • Identify candidates from adjacent industries whose skills translate to Feanix's problems • Translate complex roles into compelling candidate narratives • Build and maintain pipelines for immediate and anticipated hiring needs • Own candidate engagement and experience through offer and close • Advise leadership on talent markets, compensation, candidate availability, and hiring strategy • Create structured interview processes, scorecards, and evaluation criteria • Own recruiting operations and keep searches moving efficiently • Track pipeline health, conversion rates, sourcing effectiveness, time-to-hire, and other recruiting metrics • Improve recruiting systems and processes as the company scales • Help build Feanix's employer brand and communicate its story to candidates • Work directly with leadership to influence organizational shape and build a scalable recruiting function

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience • Meaningful in-house recruiting experience preferred • Experience recruiting in an early-stage startup environment, ideally Seed through Series A • Ability to recruit across multiple functions • Strong experience recruiting software engineers and other highly technical talent • Demonstrated success proactively sourcing and engaging high-quality passive candidates • Experience recruiting senior individual contributors, managers, and functional leaders • Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar, complex, or highly specialized roles • Strong judgment about candidate quality and ability to distinguish genuine fit • Ability to turn ambiguous hiring needs into clear candidate profiles and actionable searches • Comfortable challenging assumptions and advising hiring managers on requirements, compensation, and search strategy • Strong candidate communication, relationship-building, and closing skills • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through • Comfortable managing multiple searches with different candidate profiles and priorities • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • Unable to offer visa sponsorship or transfers
