📋 Description

• Handle financial disbursements for indirect and direct payables totaling more than $1.5B per month • Support daily operations of the Financial Cash Disbursements team and operational improvement initiatives • Research and analyze check file processes • Reconcile accounts payable transactions • Research system data and knowledge documents to resolve inquiries and identify root causes • Enter domestic and foreign wires • Resolve outstanding bank statement items with Accounting • Support internal and external audits with documentation and reports • Send weekly reports on payment-cycle errors, critical issues, frozen vendors, manual checks, and related information • Apply knowledge of three-way matching, vendor discounts, and payment terms • Complete assigned tasks autonomously and ensure check processes follow guidelines • Resolve vendor invoice, payment discrepancy, and accounts payable issues • Develop strategies to streamline disbursement processes and improve efficiency • Prioritize payment files to protect discounts and ensure thorough completion • Identify ways to preserve discounts missed during standard processing • Perform administrative functions supporting department operations • Generate and communicate presentations to large groups • Analyze quantitative and qualitative business-process data to support data-driven decisions • Collaborate with internal and external business partners on improvement areas • Analyze workflows and value chains to improve or automate business performance • Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and recommend or implement change-management techniques • Conduct training • Prepare departmental reports or charts • Perform other assigned duties and special projects

🎯 Requirements

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience in accounts payable • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in payment processing or equivalent • Exposure to other accounts payable functions • Effective analytical, reconciliation, and reasoning skills • Ability to summarize information and identify key elements, trends, results, or relationships • Ability to identify challenges, exercise initiative, use good judgment, make decisions, and provide solutions • Ability to accurately handle and analyze large amounts of data while meeting timelines, deadlines, and resources • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel • Strong attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must reside in the United States, in an Eastern or Central time zone • Ability to work 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST
