📋 Description

• Own the Expanded Core P&L and supporting financial models covering revenue, cost of revenue, gross margin, headcount, and operating expenses • Build and maintain SQL queries supporting financial models, independently sourcing and validating data • Identify data anomalies, diagnose root causes, and partner with the Data team to resolve issues • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles, including budget-versus-actual analysis • Turn ad hoc Finance and business-partner questions into clear, defensible analysis • Surface insights to the broader team and cross-functional partners • Partner with Expanded Core business leads on revenue, headcount, and operating expense decisions • Surface tradeoffs and build ROI cases for prioritized investments • Translate Expanded Core economics into narratives for senior leadership and investors • Present in executive forums including MBRs, Monthly Collective Reviews, Annual Planning, and Board meetings • Mentor and guide junior Strategic Finance team members • Report to the Senior Director of Product Finance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking • Strong financial modeling skills • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency • SQL proficiency and ability to self-serve within the data warehouse • Data fluency to identify anomalies and articulate issues clearly • Strong FP&A fundamentals, including forecasting, variance analysis, and clear reporting • Experience owning a P&L segment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience presenting to senior leadership and/or investors • Ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for senior audiences • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment • Preferred: experience in a high-growth consumer tech, subscription, or marketplace company • Preferred: experience in reward or loyalty-based businesses • Preferred: familiarity with BI/dashboarding tools; Hex or Grafana a plus • Preferred: experience with investor reporting or board-level financial presentations
