📋 Description

• Own the long-term, 3-statement monthly operating model • Build forecasts with the executive team and maintain scenario planning • Explain variances between actual results and projections • Prepare for Board reporting and executive team reviews • Build annual and quarterly budgets and targets with department heads and the executive team • Collaborate with accounting on monthly company, segment, and budget-owner budget-to-actual reviews • Own the monthly customer cohort model • Run weekly and monthly financial KPI reviews • Conduct analyses to identify operational improvements • Work with company leaders to understand business operations • Lead the transformation toward an AI-native finance technology stack and automated FP&A processes • Identify potential partnership and financing opportunities with the executive team • Support due diligence processes • Build pro forma business cases for potential strategic partnerships • Work directly with the CFO and Co-Founder on operational decision-making materials and Board presentations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting • 3+ years as a financial analyst or associate or equivalent experience (e.g., investment banking, private equity, corp dev) • Experience building 3-statement financial projection models • Comfortable with scenario modeling • Familiarity with consumer subscription or enterprise SaaS revenue and expense recognition principles • Strong Excel skills • Strong PowerPoint skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure • Ability to produce significant output efficiently • Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously • Ability to explain financial work and assumptions clearly • Bonus, but not required: Experience in automated financial planning and KPI reviews
