📋 Description

• Serve as the embedded finance partner to senior functional leaders across major cost and margin domains • Own cost center budgeting and monthly variance analysis, including headcount and compensation modeling • Build, maintain, and improve financial models for cost management, margin analysis, P&L performance, and resource allocation • Identify margin enhancement, cost rationalization, and investment prioritization opportunities • Partner with functional leaders on annual planning, headcount planning, and long-range investment cases • Contribute cost, margin, and headcount inputs to monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range planning • Prepare insight-driven variance commentary for internal and leadership reporting • Coordinate on data integrity, headcount reconciliation, and close support • Support ad hoc strategic analysis, scenario modeling, and special projects • Depending on assignment, perform product and technology modeling or professional services and G&A P&L analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field required • 3–5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, business finance, investment banking, management consulting, or a comparable analytical role within a SaaS or technology environment • Demonstrated experience serving as an embedded finance partner to senior business leaders, with a track record of influencing decisions beyond producing reports • Strong business partnering skills and ability to translate financial analysis into actionable recommendations • Hands-on financial modeling capability, including building cost models, P&Ls, and allocation frameworks from inception • Experience owning cost center budgeting and variance analysis, including headcount and compensation modeling • Working knowledge of SaaS unit economics, margin analysis, and operational efficiency benchmarking • Expert-level proficiency in Excel • Working proficiency in ERP systems and BI tools; NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics preferred, and Power BI, Tableau, or Looker • Proficiency in a financial planning tool such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, OneStream, or similar • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work standard Central Time business hours and availability during close cycle and planning periods as needed • Preferred: experience in a PE-backed SaaS environment, cloud infrastructure cost economics, FinOps, capitalized software accounting (ASC 350-40), professional services P&L, product-level or segment-level P&L, cost allocation methodology, and ASC 606 revenue recognition
