📋 Description

• Code, test, and document high-performing, intuitive software solutions according to F&G’s development methodologies, frameworks, standards, and security requirements • Perform unit, regression, security, and load testing to validate code readiness for production • Perform application security remediation with the Security team • Perform impact analysis for interface and system changes affecting applications • Assist in developing estimates for project and maintenance work • Support custom or third-party solutions and integrations • Perform application monitoring and on-call support • Assist with architecture and solution implementation • Develop and deliver code supporting existing and future deployments • Assist teammates and business partners in building reusable, scalable, fast, and maintainable technical solutions • Execute technical aspects of the function • Learn new and existing tools, resources, and processes • Develop operational, management, and analytical reports and dashboards • Perform other functions, duties, and projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred emphasis in Computer Science or MIS) or equivalent combination of education and experience • 0-3 years of hands-on technical experience in designing and building applications and interfaces • Exposure to various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) • Experience with relational database environments • Experience within a Financial Services/Insurer’s IT Organization • Experience developing in .Net/Java • Experience developing in Azure • Experience with XML and HTML • Experience with DevSecOps with GitHub • Experience with Power Automate • Experience developing in SQL Server and/or Oracle database environment • Experience with data analysis and data products • Exposure to ETL tools, i.e. Informatica • Self-starter with a high energy level and willingness to take on responsibility • Proven verbal and written communication • Strong ability to think analytically and solve problems • Ability to work in a dynamic environment • Experience with Life and Annuity insurance products • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum preferred) team • Flexibility and willingness to perform Systems and Data Analyst duties as needed • Ability to create technical documentation • Regular and punctual attendance
