📋 Description

• Support projects within the Health Programs portfolio, including the EpiC project • Provide financial management support to a portfolio of country teams • Supervise, coach, and guide assigned direct reports and HQ team members • Prepare assigned award-level financial reporting and analysis, including SF 425, accruals, and revenue forecasts • Interact with donors and stakeholders on financial management issues • Manage operational and program financial elements of assigned country activities • Develop and monitor budgets and contribute to annual budget planning, audit reviews, and assessments • Review cost data, analyze budget-versus-actual costs, and prepare forecasts • Review travel requests, procurements, and other expenses for budget availability • Provide technical assistance to Country Finance staff on accounting, financial management, sub-award management, and operations • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for donor funds management • Train staff on financial policies and procedures • Monitor cash flows and fund transfers for selected countries • Review and analyze sub-recipient budgets and financial reports • Collaborate on financial closeouts of sub-recipients • Communicate with supervisors, senior management, field staff, and team members regarding project priorities, objectives, and challenges • Manage staff and develop them to meet strategic goals • Recommend solutions to management addressing internal and external needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Related Field • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting, finance and operational management experience • Experience providing financial management of U.S. Government-funded global awards • Experience working with overseas offices within an international organization • Knowledge of U.S. Government rules and regulations and basic accounting principles • Proficiency in spreadsheet software • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, identify/resolve errors and prepare reports • Fluent English reading, writing and speaking required • French, Spanish, or other languages a plus • Prior work in a non-governmental organization (NGO) • Willingness/ability to travel internationally 10–20% • Personal computer/laptop and proficiency with Microsoft applications (Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams)
