📋 Description

• Provide senior technical oversight for knowledge management, external visibility, learning, and technical dissemination across projects • Lead conferences, webinars, learning events, and high-profile technical engagements • Develop event strategies and technical agendas • Oversee abstracts, posters, presentations, speaker preparation, review, and clearance • Manage and guide a team responsible for knowledge management, events, external visibility, and related processes • Develop staff and lead process improvements for compliance with company and donor standards • Create or revise strategies, work plans, budgets, staffing approaches, and technical designs • Maintain relationships with donors, clients, government agencies, country offices, implementing partners, peer organizations, and stakeholders • Represent FHI 360 at professional meetings, conferences, and strategic engagements • Serve as backup to the Technical Director • Capture, organize, synthesize, share, and apply evidence, lessons learned, best practices, innovations, and project achievements • Develop strategic messaging and technical and public-facing products for donor, government, partner, project, and public audiences

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Education, Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences, International Development, Human Development, or a Related Field • 10+ years of relevant experience in knowledge management, technical communications, global health, international development, or a related field • 3+ years of leadership and management experience • Documented experience leading large, complex, multi-country projects or programs • Experience working in an NGO, government agency, or related organization • Demonstrated experience leading technical planning and delivery of conferences, webinars, learning events, and strategic engagements • Comprehensive knowledge of knowledge management concepts, practices, systems, and standards • Strong project and people management expertise • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex review processes • Knowledge of donor branding and marking requirements, organizational style standards, and quality-assurance processes • Project Management (PM) Certification preferred • Proficiency in French or another language desirable • Ability to travel 10%–25% • Must complete appropriate screening checks, including reference, criminal record, and terrorism finance checks • Must sign the organization’s code of conduct
