📋 Description

• Support several global health projects funded by the U.S. Government and other donors across a portfolio of countries within a geographic region • Provide programmatic management, operational coordination, and administrative support across a portfolio of 2–5 countries and/or project components • Support project start-up, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and compliance • Coordinate specific project components and support planning and implementation • Prepare detailed reports, document project activities, and track progress • Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates • Coordinate small teams or work groups, deliver presentations, and lead meetings • Research and provide inputs for project design • Synthesize information and data into summaries of progress • Track trends and collect data in the project area • Monitor compliance, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies • Support appropriate use of the project SharePoint site • Liaise with funders on administrative tasks and contracting coordination • Monitor subawardees for compliance with terms • Support budgets, interpret budget tracking, and optimize resource use • Review expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders with finance staff • Draft and review sub-award packages • Manage the pre-award assessment process • Liaise with subcontractors and facilitate partner/sub-award communication

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Civil Society, Communication and Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Gender, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology and Youth, or related fields • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience with project management principles and practices • Prior work experience in an NGO, government agency, or private organization • Full understanding of project/project management concepts and practices • Basic knowledge of the project's technical area • Task-level knowledge • Working knowledge of project design concepts, practices, and procedures • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English • Strong project/project management skills • Ability to problem-solve and implement corrective action • Ability to prepare timely reports and provide information to management • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with funders and staff • Must read, write, and speak fluent English • Proficiency in French or Spanish preferred • Experience managing and/or supporting complex USG contract/acquisition mechanisms strongly preferred • International or domestic (US) program development or program management preferred • Ability to use Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Zoom/Teams, personal computer/laptop, mobile technology, and standard office equipment • Ability to spend long hours looking at a computer screen and perform repetitive keyboard work • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods • Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs. • Willingness to travel 10%–25% • Employment subject to reference, criminal record, terrorism finance, and misconduct disclosure screening checks
