📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and finalize central-level project tasks according to deadlines and budget • Manage development of Core workplans and initiative projects from initiation to completion • Develop project management tools, best practices, and execution processes • Coordinate HQ team members, project plans, budgets, training, and resources • Work with technical and program management teams to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule and within budget • Monitor contractual deliverables and activity budgets • Manage select Core-funded initiatives, minimizing risk and monitoring budgets and scope • Troubleshoot implementation issues with project staff and enterprise services • Collaborate with FHI 360 service units including Contract Management Services, procurement, and digital technology • Maintain cooperation with partners through communication, coordination, and joint decision-making • Provide backup country project management support when needed • Contribute to Core activity reports • Develop task delegation and team performance evaluation tools • Ensure project personnel receive orientation to the organization, project, and FHI 360 systems • May supervise Project Officers • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Communication and Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology and Youth or a Related Fields • Project Management (PM) Certification strongly preferred • 8+ years of relevant experience with project management principles and practices • 2+ years of management experience required • Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private organization • International or domestic (US) program development or project management preferred • English fluency required • Fluency in a second language such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, or Arabic is an added advantage • Comprehensive knowledge of project management concepts, practices, and procedures • Strong knowledge of project management software and other technologies • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated project and personnel management skills • Ability to influence, motivate, collaborate, adapt, and resolve problems • Ability to spend long hours looking at a computer screen and doing repetitive keyboard work • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods • Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs. • Ability to use personal computer/laptop, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams, cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment • Ability to travel 10%–25% • Successful completion of appropriate screening checks, including reference, criminal record, and terrorism finance checks
