📋 Description

• Oversee implementation of multiple program portfolios and initiatives within the Global Health Security Health Programs portfolio • Provide operational oversight to a division comprising multiple project teams • Foster innovation and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes aligned with organizational objectives • Gather and share evidence, lessons learned, and best practices with internal and external stakeholders • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction across award implementation, technical quality, innovation, and knowledge management • Provide business analytics to maintain and expand market share in the relevant domain • Represent FHI 360 as a thought leader • Navigate complex project implementation challenges and recommend actionable solutions • Analyze project performance and identify areas for improvement • Make decisions on resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement • Foster partnerships with project teams, donors, and implementing partners • Facilitate communication and knowledge exchange • Establish and maintain relationships across FHI 360, including Groups and Enterprise Support colleagues • Set strategic direction, manage budgets, and ensure programmatic quality • Manage project staff and shape portfolio structure for efficiency and effectiveness • Lead seasoned technical experts, including supervision, performance management, and professional development • Contribute to sustainable development goals and positive public health outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Business Administration, International Development, Civil Society, Communication, Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Gender, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology, Youth, or a related field • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in project management, overseeing complex projects and initiatives; or 12 years and a master’s degree; or 9 years and a PhD; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience • Minimum 8 years of experience in leadership and line management • Proven experience leading and managing complex, strategic portfolios of programs/projects on a national or international scale • Experience leading teams in complex settings, managing financial and human resources • Significant experience working in non-governmental organizations (NGOs) • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles • Expertise in program implementation methodologies • Proficient in organizational leadership practices • Expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement • Proven track record of driving innovation and achieving impactful outcomes within their division • Ability to meet or exceed revenue targets across USG, foundations/corporations, and other donors • Approximately 25% travel may be required • Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams, and standard office equipment • Must comply with safeguarding commitments and sign the code of conduct • Employment is subject to reference, criminal record, terrorism finance, and misconduct disclosure screening checks
