• Provide technical leadership for knowledge management and external visibility across large, multi-country global health projects • Develop and implement activities that facilitate knowledge sharing and learning • Produce strategic messaging and high-quality technical products for donor, government, and partner audiences • Lead planning and execution of webinars, conference sessions, technical events, learning events, and technical exchanges • Ensure technical accuracy, consistency, donor branding and marking compliance, and organizational standards across products • Collaborate with technical teams, country offices, and partners to capture, synthesize, and disseminate evidence, lessons learned, and best practices • Develop and maintain knowledge-sharing processes, tools, and approaches across projects and countries • Create the knowledge management portion of project plans within resource and financial constraints • Coordinate country-office requests for technical assistance • Design, develop, plan, and execute knowledge products and knowledge exchange events • May supervise junior technical staff, subcontractors, consultants, and others implementing technical project work • Track delivery of project outputs • Represent FHI 360 and/or the Institute at professional meetings and conferences • Maintain collaborative relationships with donors, clients, government agencies, NGOs, implementing partners, field counterparts, and technical staff • Participate in client/funder meetings and draft reports and presentations • Strengthen knowledge management capacity of country office staff • Develop success stories, technical briefs, case studies, lessons learned documents, fact sheets, presentations, reports, manuscripts, and other dissemination materials • Contribute to digital and visual knowledge products, including social media content, photography, data visualization, graphic design, and multimedia materials • Synthesize technical information and evidence from multiple sources into concise, audience-appropriate products • Help develop and review work plans • Serve as primary author for technical deliverables • Gather and aggregate data for summaries and high-level overviews • Conduct quality assurance reviews and improve efficiency and effectiveness of procedures
• Master’s Degree or International Equivalent in Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Education, Environment, Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences, International Development, Human Development or Related Field • Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience in global health, international development, or a related field • Documented experience supporting large, complex, multi-country projects or programs • Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) or government agency • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical information, evidence, and lessons learned into clear, strategic, actionable messages and products • Experience leading or supporting technical dissemination, visibility, strategic engagement, webinars, conferences, stakeholder engagements, and learning events • Knowledge of donor branding and marking requirements, organizational style standards, and quality assurance processes • Strong knowledge and skills in a specific technical area/function and general understanding of related technical areas/functions • Knowledge of standards for knowledge management, operational processes and procedures, work, and task flow • Ability to manage projects, set realistic priorities, and plan successful implementation of activities • Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, content and message development, and verbal communication skills • Experience developing social media content, photography, videos, infographics, data visualization, graphic design, and multimedia materials • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English • Proficiency in French desired; proficiency in other languages a plus • Project Management (PM) Certification preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Sprout Social, Muck Rack, or other creative software/applications a plus • Ability to spend long hours looking at a computer screen and doing repetitive keyboard work • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift 5 lbs. • Travel requirement of 10%–25% • Must complete required employment screening checks and sign the FHI 360 code of conduct
