📋 Description

• Lead all operations and general business functions within an assigned geographic region • Implement and execute business processes affecting profit and loss in FHI’s unloading business • Advise the Director of Operations on business decisions • Collaborate with executive, HR, finance, accounting, IT, and other support leaders on operational decisions and adjustments • Coach direct reports, management teams, and operational leaders • Conduct regular monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with each direct report • Set expectations for customer service, safety, development, and training • Review direct-report performance against role expectations and KPI goals • Ensure operational audit procedures comply with company policies, procedures, and values • Apply federal, state, and local laws consistently throughout the assigned region • Participate in Customer Top-To-Top and operational Continuous Improvement Meetings • Travel extensively to assigned locations

🎯 Requirements

• Management experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving, preferably in grocery supply chain • 3+ years of management experience in a warehouse environment • Experience with HR-related activities • Competency in production and financial analysis • Experience with customer relations • Experience leading and coaching operational teams • Well-developed written and oral communication skills • Ability to use influence to build positive, effective relationships • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office • Valid driver’s license • Must pass a background check • Ability to stand, walk, bend, pull, stretch, twist, and lift to handle product and operate warehouse dock equipment safely • Ability to work in varying hot and cold temperature environments • Ability to travel extensively to assigned locations • Ability to use close and distance vision to focus on a computer screen for most of the workday
