📋 Description

• Assume Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities when a vacancy occurs • Act as interim Maintenance Supervisor or Technician at properties, including on-call weekend response • Partner with Regional Directors – Facilities to preserve and maintain assigned assets • Conduct annual property assessments • Ensure life safety system inspections and preventative maintenance schedules are completed • Assist with weekly unit and property inspections and documentation • Assist site managers with annual turnover planning and execution • Ensure compliance with Landmark Policies and Procedures and OSHA guidelines for maintenance functions • Develop efficient maintenance processes to preserve asset value and provide excellent customer service • Assist the Community Manager with the facilities operating budget and make necessary purchases • Evaluate maintenance shop inventory and account for equipment and supplies • Partner with vendors to obtain bids for site projects • Evaluate maintenance site staff performance • Train maintenance site team members on standard operating procedures • Assist with recruiting for vacant property maintenance positions

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance experience required, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical • EPA Universal Certification required • CPO Certification required • Supervisory experience preferred • Experience with student housing turnover preferred • Experience with Entrata preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills • Effective communication skills • Ability to manage one’s own time effectively • Ability to perform required physical activities, including standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands • Ability to travel up to 90%, including intrastate and interstate driving and possible air travel
