• Lead the production team day to day and serve as the main contact for general production questions • Run the weekly production call and work with Account Managers and functional managers to triage project issues • Project-manage and/or account-manage individual projects, with approximately 50% FTE allocation on average • Hire, coach, support career development, and conduct performance conversations for producers • Own the studio allocation plan and lead the biweekly allocation meeting • Produce and post the monthly Project Health Report • Own the client temperature check process with Account Managers • Oversee QA and A/V operations, including scheduling, voice talent casting and delivery, SFX sourcing, contractor relationships, and A/V contract drafting • Track and coordinate playtesting across active projects • Support accounting by maintaining project schedule earn reports and accurate project billing • Support sales with production input on estimates, budgets, and proposed teams • Ensure project teams deliver materials and support to marketing • Provide first-line HR support to the production team and QA manager • Identify recurring operational work and replace it with AI-assisted or automated workflows • Maintain and improve development processes, division of labor, and documentation • Partner with engineering leadership on internal tooling • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and budget with visible variances • Maintain reliable project health, client sentiment, and earn reporting • Improve staffing allocation, process documentation, QA, A/V, playtesting, and operational automation
• 10+ years of experience in games, ed tech, or comparable software product development • 5+ years managing people directly, including managing other producers or project leads • Demonstrated experience building project budgets, allocating resources across multiple concurrent projects, and reporting project health to executives • Diverse roles over the course of your career • Experience running agile/scrum development teams in Jira or a similar digital task tracker • Professional experience utilizing AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar, including building something reusable • Excellent written and verbal English and polished presentation skills • Polished employee relations skills and working knowledge of common HR dos and don'ts • Proficiency building spreadsheet models • Strong command of scheduling and allocation tooling such as Google Sheets, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project • Hands-on expertise with Jira or equivalent scrum task tracker and a documentation wiki such as Confluence • Ability to interpret a profit and loss statement for a project or line of business • Ability to build or specify lightweight automations, AI agents, skills, scripts, or integrations • Sound judgment on data privacy and appropriate tool use, especially in COPPA/FERPA-adjacent contexts • English language proficiency • Previous employment in educational games, teaching experience, QA or A/V production, executive production, sales, account management, web development, or DevOps experience, and relevant industry group participation are extra credit
