📋 Description

• Own and re-architect the CI/CD pipeline end to end across three language ecosystems. • Identify where engineering time is spent through conversations and data, and address the most costly inefficiencies. • Build internal tooling that engineers adopt because it improves their work. • Reduce flaky tests, slow feedback loops, and delivery bottlenecks between systems. • Instrument delivery metrics, use them to drive decisions, and report progress. • Improve local development setup and onboarding. • Deliberately incorporate AI-assisted development into the workflow. • Participate in on-call support for systems built. • Own systems carrying software from commit to production using GitLab CI and Octopus Deploy across .NET, Python, and Svelte.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep hands-on CI/CD ownership: you’ve designed and rebuilt pipelines, not just consumed them. • Real software engineering ability; ability to write code peers respect. • Experience with pipelines serving multiple language ecosystems, dependency caches, and test runners within one coherent release process. • Fluency in DORA metrics, including instrumenting, interpreting, and applying them to prioritize work. • Practical infrastructure-as-code and containerization experience. • Ownership mindset and experience carrying a pager for systems built. • Ability to change how engineers work through mentorship, better tools, clear writing, and earned credibility. • Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tooling.
