📋 Description

• Run credit checks on new advertisers and agencies using Experian; recommend payment terms and approve opportunities in Salesforce • Complete customer vendor setup requests, including W-9s, supplier forms, AP portals and Bill.com enrollment • Review closed-won deals from a billing perspective before syncing from Salesforce to Sage Intacct • Sync and set up contracts in Sage Intacct; set up new items and maintain contracts when deals change • Handle contract holds, resyncs and barter/trade deals • Generate and issue invoices, including first invoices, prepayment invoices and prebills • Manage automated invoice delivery and partner billing processes, including voids, reissues and corrections • Retrieve and apply daily customer payments from lockbox and bank receipts • Process and approve card payments through Authorize.net; send payment links and encourage ACH/wire payments • Prepare weekly deposit summaries and clear unapplied cash • Answer customer questions and manage collections through resolution • Own customer statements, seller aging reports, dunning and manual follow-ups • Lead collection meetings with Sales Management and support sellers and account managers on billing • Manage distressed accounts • Close direct-sold, agency-sold and programmatic revenue monthly, including revenue-share adjustments • Post revenue in Sage Intacct and reconcile revenue between Salesforce and Sage Intacct • Prepare monthly partner revenue-share schedules and coordinate with partners • Prepare monthly AR, unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, undeposited funds and other receivables reconciliations • Support the annual financial audit for AR and revenue • Use AI tools daily for research, reconciliations, customer communication and reporting • Work with the Controller to automate manual workflows, including programmatic imports, revenue tie-outs and collections follow-up • Help build and maintain an AI-powered AR dashboard and keep SOP documentation current • Identify automation opportunities and measure time savings

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections and revenue accounting • Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition • Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations • Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred, especially Contracts and AR • Working knowledge of Salesforce and how CRM data flows into billing • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills • Active use of AI tools and automation, such as Claude, ChatGPT or workflow tools, to reduce manual work • Clear, professional written communication and a persistent but friendly collections style • Confidence working independently with sellers and account managers internally, and with agencies and direct advertisers externally • Comfortable working independently in a remote, multi-time-zone team • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred • Proficiency in English at a C1/C2 level according to the CEFR • Nice to have: experience in media, advertising or agency billing, including programmatic
