📋 Description

• Implement goals, objectives, and work standards for the department • Apply policies and procedures complying with regulatory and statutory guidelines, rules, and standards • Plan, organize, administer, review, and evaluate activities of professional, technical, and office support staff • Develop and coordinate work teams • Review, recommend, and implement improved policies and procedures • Direct staff selection • Provide training and professional development • Maintain effective morale, productivity, and discipline • Provide strategic oversight for a major area of operations • Set direction, policies, and performance standards • Balance day-to-day performance with transformation • Manage a large team through subordinate leaders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 8+ years progressive management experience • Advanced degree preferred • Demonstrated competency in executing strategic plans • Ability to learn the needs of a wide range of employees while driving team performance, monitoring results, and allocating resources • Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in a particular field of specialization • Experience and knowledge of functional tools and infrastructure • Understanding of metrics/dashboards supporting continuous improvement • Experience leading employees in multiple locations • Significant experience developing and implementing solutions • Problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills • Time management and project management skills • Leadership skills and ability to empower employees
