📋 Description

• Reconcile assigned GSE and asset bank accounts and loan activity timely while following departmental policies and guidelines • Balance daily cashbook to identify remittance differences between loan servicing system and remittance reports • Validate bank statement activity against loan servicing system and GSE reports • Collaborate with internal teams and business units to align processes with internal and external guidelines • Maintain working relationships with internal and external business groups and resolve issues promptly • Assist with internal, external, investor, regulatory, and state audit exam requests • Generate error log reports and follow escalation procedures for process breaks • Review payment applications for compliance with investor and company guidelines • Analyze new reporting formats and proposed changes to reconciliation requirements • Ensure new servicing and reporting requirements are implemented and functioning • Maintain policies and procedures according to company and investor guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent • Some college preferred • Minimum of 2 years of related experience, including investor accounting and/or reporting, required • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and government regulations • Strong analytical and resolution skills • Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external sources • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form • Great attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work in a team environment and strong interpersonal skills • Self-motivated; self-starter • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems • Proficient in Microsoft Office
