📋 Description

• Conduct unbiased and impartial assessments of market areas, statistics, and pertinent property information • Analyze data and develop property value estimates according to government, company, regulatory board, and client guidelines • Document on-site assessments with photographs, measurements, comparable sales values, and demographic information • Draw land diagrams and other visual documentation • Evaluate factors influencing property value, including land, neighborhoods, trends, future community changes, shopping centers, schools, parks, construction, condition, special features, and functional design • Generate fee quotes • Present evaluations and property value estimates to home buyers, sellers, investors, creditors, leasing agents, and real estate agents • Partner with the Lead Appraiser to resolve requests and recommend process improvements • Participate in monthly Appraiser meetings • Meet department turnaround expectations and escalate delays appropriately

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 0-1 years of related experience with a mortgage and/or appraisal company • Preferred experience in REO appraisals • HUD/FHA experience • Bachelor's Degree required • Ability to work within varying client-driven deadlines • Exceptional analytical and narrative writing skills • Ability to analyze data, draw sound conclusions and summarize results • Detail oriented and self-motivated • Ability to work in a fast paced, accurate environment • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to deliver clear and understandable messages to appraisers, vendors, and operational staff • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up • Active Appraiser license or certification as required by the state's regulatory agency • Certified Appraisers located inside the continental United States are encouraged to apply
