📋 Description

• Own the creation, production, and maintenance of recurring reports, including monthly Category Performance Scorecards, weekly retailer reports, and feature/promo trackers • Perform data preparation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure high accuracy and consistency • Support ad-hoc data and analysis requests for Sales and Marketing • Analyze data from a shopper perspective to identify trends, behaviors, and category growth opportunities • Support promotion performance reviews, assortment/line reviews, and innovation initiatives • Standardize reporting and analytics processes across business units and retailers • Document processes and best practices to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing • Provide data support for customer meetings, category reviews, and strategic initiatives • Assist with adoption of advanced analytics tools • Contribute to scalable analytics as the business expands

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field • 1–3 years of professional experience; internships or co-ops in analytics, category management, retail, CPG, or market research preferred • Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills through coursework or projects • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, core formulas, and charts • Experience working with large data sets from multiple sources, including cleaning, standardizing, and combining data • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to present data clearly and link insights to business context • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders • Self-starter able to work independently and proactively seek solutions with minimal oversight • Collaborative team player eager to learn and contribute cross-functionally • Genuine interest in CPG, retail dynamics, shopper behavior, and data-driven decision making • Must have reliable high-speed internet access and regularly use a computer workstation • Must be willing to travel approximately once per month, potentially including overnight travel • Experience with syndicated retail data platforms such as Circana/Nielsen is nice to have • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is nice to have • Experience creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations is nice to have • Exposure to advanced Excel capabilities such as data modeling and macros is nice to have
