📋 Description

• Review and analyze potential sanctions hits while maintaining compliance requirements • Use problem-solving and analytical skills to identify potential business partners and customers • Make timely decisions despite incomplete or ambiguous information • Maintain confidentiality of information obtained during research • Maintain and update databases • Monitor global sanctions and economic news • Utilize open-source research tools • Support client trade compliance through research and analytical support for due diligence and sanctions activities • Collaborate autonomously and with cross-functional teams • Travel to client sites as required by the nature of the work

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a research/analytics field pertaining to social and political sciences or foreign policy • Knowledge of research best practices and methodologies • Experience using research and analysis to support decision-making processes • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Experience successfully collaborating with others, especially across functions • Ability to work autonomously and produce high-quality work with minimal direction • Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Ability and willingness to work in a remote environment • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship • Must be able to uphold the stress of traveling to client sites and adapt to client-site conditions • Regular, predictable attendance required • Ability to work outside standard business hours as business needs dictate • Preferred: Master's degree pertaining to international studies, political science, or foreign policy • Preferred: Experience working on a remote team • Preferred: Technically savvy, comfortable learning new tools, and confident using AI to support research, analysis, and sanctions investigations
