• Design, build, and scale the AI and automation layer powering back-office and clinical operations • Transition the company from ad-hoc scripts and manual workflows to a durable, systematic AI operations engine • Own the AI & Automation function as a player-coach • Ship automations while building scalable systems, standards, and teams • Own the company's automation roadmap and deliver measurable operational leverage • Shadow clinical and back-office teams to identify high-ROI automation opportunities • Build repeatable processes for capturing, shipping, and monitoring production automations • Lead data integrations across major EHRs, including error handling and pipeline reliability • Match automation tooling to workflows using APIs, portal integrations, browser/desktop automation, and screen-level robots • Stand up and maintain internal AI tooling, including LLMs, agent frameworks, and knowledge assistants • Train teammates to become power users of AI tooling • Scope and execute with automation vendors while enforcing delivery, quality, and reliability standards • Partner with Engineering on integration patterns, data contracts, and product-versus-operations decisions • Enforce documentation, monitoring, and change-management practices for reliable production systems and data-driven decisions • Connect operators, clinicians, and internal teams to inform product and roadmap decisions • Report to Co-Founder & CEO Albert Katz and partner closely with Co-Founder & CTO Will Hu • Work across BizOps, RCM, Product, Engineering, and Operations to drive operational leverage
• 1–3 years of experience in management consulting, software engineering, product management, or a similar analytical/technical role • Exposure to high-growth or ambiguous environments ideally • Strong problem-solving instincts with a bias toward action • Genuine fluency with modern AI tooling, including LLMs, agent frameworks, and prompt engineering • Understanding of where AI works well versus where it breaks down • Hands-on technical aptitude with APIs and light scripting in Python, JavaScript, or similar • Ability to read code, write automations, and debug independent work • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to write clearly for leadership • Comfort working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations • Ownership mindset about outcomes rather than scope • Bachelor's degree • Exposure to healthcare, operations, or regulated industries is a plus but not required • Charismatic and credible leadership style • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and operate through ambiguity • Highly execution-oriented with willingness to stay close to the work • Resilient, adaptable, and competitive, with a strong drive to win • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational discipline • Authorization to work in the United States or Canada • Must not require a visa to continue working in the United States or Canada
