📋 Description

• Source new opportunities, advise clients on optimal financing strategies, and manage deal execution • Originate, structure, and execute capital markets transactions • Support the growth of existing and new clients • Manage opportunities and pipeline with Relationship Managers and Executive Sales Officers • Pitch FEF’s capabilities and secure client mandates • Coordinate offering materials and required documentation • Serve as the primary investor and client interface for efficient transaction execution • Manage direct client and investor relationships and an annual syndicated volume and fee income budget • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial banking partners and clients • Lead complex transaction negotiations • Expand relationships with institutional investors, nonbank lenders, and syndication partners • Develop new investor relationships and sources of capital across banks, insurance companies, and nonbank/specialty finance companies • Monitor equipment finance trends and regulatory developments • Anticipate risk issues and partner with internal control functions to mitigate exposure • Contribute to internal thought leadership • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on client solutions and market expansion • Drive collaboration across leasing, risk, and credit teams to support deal origination and execution • Gather client and partner feedback and provide feedback to the internal deal team • Participate in industry associations and represent FEF at conferences, trade shows, and client events

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) • 10+ years of experience in capital markets, equipment leasing, or structured finance • Strong institutional investor relationships and deal execution expertise • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Team player, goal oriented, driven, and self-motivated • Experience leading the deal process from initial pitch to closing • Strong credit skills, analytical expertise, and writing proficiency • Strong communication skills and negotiation capabilities • Deep understanding of lease acquisitions, syndications, structured finance, and secondary markets • Strong network of institutional buyers and syndication partners • Ability to structure deals that balance growth and risk • Strong grasp of leasing regulations and banking capital markets requirements • Travel as dictated by client needs
