📋 Description

• Identify new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships with companies in music, film, television, live events, and other Entertainment Industry segments • Solicit referrals from existing clients, professional contacts, and industry resources • Represent Flagstar at industry forums and conferences • Translate industry trend and competition insights into actionable strategies • Identify, target, and develop a pipeline of new client prospects • Partner with underwriting and portfolio teams on diligence, assessment, modeling, valuation, timelines, and internal approvals to drive loan growth • Structure and document loans, ensure compliance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements, and price products within targeted rate of return • Collaborate with product and support partners on syndications, treasury management, foreign exchange, and interest rate derivatives to provide integrated solutions and expand revenue • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and provide industry thought leadership to Bank business partners • Perform special projects and additional duties as required • Complete required compliance training and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, finance, or a related field • 10+ years as a Commercial Lending Relationship Manager and/or in commercial lending sales • Some experience in commercial credit may substitute for production experience • Experience specific to Specialized Industries • Experience in Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Capital Markets • Credit training preferred • Expert knowledge of commercial lending credit, underwriting, and loan structuring • Expert analytical skills for financial and cash flow analyses • Highly developed negotiation skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience using a calling strategy to call on prospects and clients and establish a personally developed client and prospect network • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships through clear communication and proactive cross-functional collaboration • Some travel may be required • Ability to meet moderate physical demands, including standing, sitting, walking, driving, or infrequent lifting
