📋 Description

• Ship high-leverage product improvements that unblock strategic deals and expand what Fleetio can confidently commit to for key accounts • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand constraints, timelines, and customer workflows; turn those needs into clear requirements and implementation plans • Build solutions meeting Fleetio’s product and engineering standards, including testing, observability, maintainability, and documentation • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering peers to make pragmatic scope decisions and deliver iteratively • Communicate proactively and clearly about tradeoffs, risks, and timelines • Deliver scoped, funded commitments as durable Fleetio products that can be supported like the rest of the platform • Directly influence outcomes for key accounts and help close some of Fleetio’s largest deals

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails • 2+ years with React • Strong experience building and shipping production web applications with a focus on quality and maintainability • Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders, translating needs into technical plans, and managing expectations • Ability to decompose complex requests into milestones and deliver incrementally • Strong written communication and comfort working in a remote, async-friendly environment • Nice to have: Experience working on a large-scale Ruby on Rails application • Nice to have: Experience working on customer-facing platform/product capabilities that support enterprise accounts • Nice to have: Experience partnering with go-to-market teams (Sales, Customer Success) on delivery of time-sensitive commitments
