📋 Description

• Write maintainable code and implement new Marketplace features connecting customers to maintenance shops and facilitating service, approvals, transactions, billing, and fleet data entry • Plan, design, and implement features for Fleetio’s Marketplace offering and outsourced maintenance and payments • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality software • Participate in collaborative feature design and architecture • Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code • Research and implement prototypes and spikes to validate assumptions and technical feasibility • Contribute to development and planning processes • Review peer code for quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing • Report to the Web Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails, React, and/or TypeScript • Firm understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases such as PostgreSQL • Solid experience solving challenging architecture problems with good design • Experience with unit testing frameworks • Excellent written communication skills • Detail orientation, quality focus, and ability to make tradeoffs
