📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and support a team of transactional attorneys responsible for customer agreements across SaaS, software licensing, and professional services. • Serve as the primary legal escalation lead for Sales, Finance, and Customer Success to negotiate complex public-sector and commercial transactions. • Partner with Legal Operations to design, update, and deploy contract templates, playbooks, negotiation guidance, and self-service business resources. • Advise cross-functional business partners on transaction structuring, risk mitigation, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. • Drive operational efficiency across contracting workflows, tools, and enablement resources to accelerate deal execution.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive legal experience leading, negotiating, and drafting complex technology and commercial contracts spanning public-sector and private commercial customers. • Proven track record managing, coaching, and developing a team of transactional attorneys. • Demonstrated capability partnering with business teams to structure deals, manage risk, and resolve contract questions under tight deadlines. • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal business partners and customers. • Active license to practice law and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. • Prior in-house legal experience supporting a SaaS or technology company is a plus.
